Internacional de Cabo Verde
is a brand new company based on the island of Sal in the Cape Verde Islands producing quality professional theatrical entertainment with an
international perspective aiming to raise the profile of Cabo Verdean art in English, whilst
fully engaging with the Kreole and Portuguese language of the islands. The company's first production was Mark Norfolk's critically acclaimed play, Naked Soldiers which had its international premiere at the 2022 Mindelact Theater Festival in Mindelo, Sao Vicente and performances in Praia and Santa Maria. Naked Soldiers returned to Cape Verde in June 2023 performing at the XI Edition of Sal enCena Festival of Theatre in Santa Maria, Sal Island.
